Over the years, Cherating has experienced significant growth in tourism, particularly in its accommodation and surf-based offerings. The area's development began with the opening of Club Med Cherating Beach, catering to foreign tourists and offering a secluded, peaceful retreat away from the main road. The success of Club Med paved the way for further tourism ventures in the area, as other resorts followed suit. Cherating is also known as one of Malaysia's best spots for surfing due to its consistent monsoon swells (discovered in the 1970s), offering long, mellow waves ideal for both beginners and experienced surfers. Towels are refreshed every three days, or upon request. We recommend hanging them to be sun-dried to conserve energy.

Our Malaysian-made shower gel is crafted with safe, natural ingredients, ensuring a gentle and eco-friendly refreshment.
Food Waste & Composting
Raw leftovers from our kitchen are composted and returned to our edible garden, nourishing the earth and closing the loop.
